What Are the Rich Guys Buying from Romney?

It's an election year and of course that tends to make me sick and nauseous. When you hear the out right lies that Romney and Ryan tell, over and over again, because they know that quite a few people will believe them because they support their worldview, it becomes difficult to understand how this democracy can continue to exist.

I guess the actual question is, will the rich billionaires and the other oligarchs of this country be able to buy the election of our president in November? Will we be able to tell if this election is actually stolen?

The voter suppression tactics of the GOP are in evidence every where and there is some truth to the idea that whoever runs local voting can mess with the results. It has happened before. Certainly Richard Daley messed with the results in 1960. Certainly the GOP messed with the results in Florida in 2000.

So, if the election turns out to be saleable, who's fault will it be? Clearly it is the fault of those stupid democrats who joined the gang of seven to prevent a filibuster of John Roberts and Samuel Alito's nominations to the Supreme Court. Once they were aboard the Citizens United decision should have surprised no one. And of course the rich always support the GOP, for the obvious reason that they are not interested in the USA, but in themselves. Their fortunes. Rich people vote and support only their pocketbooks.

SO, let's see what they will have bought if Romney wins:
1. the stock market reforms will be rolled back so the financial guys can rape us again
2. the oil companies will get to keep a great deal more of the money they extort from the rest of us
3. Adelson, the Jew who owns casinos that strip money from people, will have bought that war with Iran he can almost taste in his Israel-is-more-important-then-the-USA mouth
4. Global Warming will pick up the pace as more coal plants go online
and
5. more kids will fall into that category of being "food insecure" as they put it these days

Let's hear it for the rich. What they do not understand is that there truly is a structure in reality that the hindus called Kharma. The rich can be rich and be okay, but only if they have taken care to be part of the rest of the species. Any time any of us does things purely for our own gain, there is a price. Maybe not in this phenomenol reality, but in existence as a whole. But, people like the Koch Brothers really don't believe this, nor do they understand what they are creating for themselves. If they did, they wouldn't be on that side at all.

And right now Ayn Rand is, not burning in hell, no. She's been confronted with all the pain her work has created and now she is sharing that pain, personally. Waiting for another chance on the wheel.

The Lady loves us all. She will give Ayn that chance eventually. After her kharma has been leveled. I am, as always, grateful, for the Lady's love, and especially at this time, for Her mercy. Perhaps if we embrace Her mercy we will see the collapse of the Republican effort to destroy the world Franklin Roosevelt built. Could happen.

Not Such a Good Friday For All of Us

It's good Friday. That's a joke, in and of itself. The xtians took Easter, Oestres feast, and tried to make it about the lie that underpins their religion, the idea that a Jewish Rabbi named Yeshua actually died and then got up from his bier and walked around for a day or two. Millions of people believe this and perhaps they can be forgiven, for they have been told this all their lives and they have never looked into it too deeply.

The other sad fact that this story brings to the festival of spring, of renewed life, is one of horrible murder of innocents. The Passover. One only needs to look at this story, to begin to nnderstand how fucked up it must be to be born a "jew". In this story the Jews are victims of the Egyptians and are only freed because their god murders every first born in every house not marked with the blood of a slaughtered lamb.

It is always interesting to me to read all the rules for sacrifice in the old testament. I suppose they weren't the only culture that obsessed about killing things to make "god" happy. What kind of god is all about getting animals killed and burnt?? What does this mean and why does it exist? Sure, there is little actual communication with the deity, despite what all the books want you to believe. I just find it difficult to think that any god worth knowing would cook up this evil and vile scheme, to kill all the firstborn children of the egyptians. It does sound like something certain humans would concoct. It has a very Game of Thrones, or nazi feel to it. But, why would god do it??? And even it you tell me that the children didn't suffer and got to go to god (we don't know that). What about all the people left behind who were then devastated by these deaths? I suppose it is sort of the same reasoning as sanctions. If enough of the population complains we can get Ayatolah Khameini to do things the way we want him to. Never mind the toll on the families and women and children.

So I hate Passover. I hate the very idea of the Seder. I hate the faux resurrection of the man Yeshua. I hate the fact that so many have transferred the natural festival of Oestres, the Goddess of creation, into a celebration of blood and death, and rebirth, but just for the one guy. Not the rest of us.

And then there's the absolute canard, "the chosen people." Man, as soon as you hear that you now the sound of self delusion. Being chosen by the god of the old testament, a minor babylonian figure, is pretty much a nightmare proposition. It helps me understand why most of the gnostics had that meme about the insane god. That's a big part of Phil Dick's version of western religion. Well, give me that old time religion, the one practiced before the xtians and the jews came along and fucked everything up, the religion based on the real world, the natural world of the trees and the rocks and the cycle of life and the flow of water through us all.

Finally, on this Passover weekend, let me just add that the people who are running Israel at this time are clearly extremely intent on pulling a masada. They are out to destroy themselves. And they seem dedicated to evening the kharmic score with the nazis. How incredibly sad and scary is that? They will never be evil in that same sense, but they seem to want to make the world accept that they can be as awful and unjust as they want, in the pursuit of making a world where that won't happen again. Because they are doing that now. So much bad kharma right now. who would've thought in the 1970s that the palestinians would gain the moral high ground? There is no doubt they are flawed, too, and perhaps more flawed then the Israelies, but it is getting hard to tell. The religious parties in Israel are intent on creating a sharia law state, using of course, the Torah to condemn everyone who isn't them. Wow. So very wrong.

Maybe it is as Andrew Sullivan has said, the idea is to completely eschew power.

You got me. I am just grateful that I looked up and the Lady was there, full of grace. I know that by Her love and Her mercy I will be given the chance to be honest with myself. Only the truth is worth living for. Only the truth is the door through death.

Israel Blows It Yet Again

So the legitimate government of Israel, using lawyer-speak, caused an act of piracy to take place in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea. They sent their thuggish military down ropes onto the Turkish ships that sought to get passed the blockade of the Gaza Strip.

Upon arrival, amazingly enough, the people on the ships felt they were being attacked! So they fought back! Israel said they had all kinds of serious weapons, and that justified the Israelis using deadly force. A bunch of people were shot dead. None of them Israelis, of course.

So, this then creates this question in my mind, does the government of Netanyahooo, as I like to call him, believe that they are allowed to board and capture any ship sailing in those seas, as long as they proclaim, in advance, that the act is lawful? What about the pirates off the eastern coast of Africa? Can they then legitimize their activities by proclaiming those ships passing through as running a legally defined blockade? Where does this end? Is there a rule of law among humans, or is it merely the rule of the most powerful in the situation?

I think this was an amazingly stupid thing they did. It pretty much plays totally into Hamas hands. The war for public opinion in the world is being utterly lost by the Jews. The whole thrust of their current state is headed towards a terrible dissolution. So sad, too. What a bright shining star Israel used to be. And the palestinians, with their stupidly held statement that there could be no state of Israel, they were always the bad guys for most of the world. Now the situation has turned. If the palestinians were smart they would go all ghandi at this point and start starving themselves to death. That would be much more powerful than blowing themselves up.

Of course it is absolutely true that the Palestinian Authority is the enemy of Hamas, and it is true that the Egyptians don't like Hamas either. So Israel may have felt it had some cover for what it did on Monday. Unfortunately, the way it was done has given the victory completely over to Hamas. Just like the Gaza War did in the months before Obama became president.

See, Bibi Netanyahooooooooo, he thinks he is winning, because at home people are becoming ever more paranoid and rightwing. Unfortunately, we have to live in the greater world. The time is fast approaching when the USA is going to back seriously away from the Israelis. Israel has many nuclear weapons, so no one will ever take them down by force. But, psychologically, they are in a ruin now. Eventually they will become South Africa to the rest of the world and therein lies the ultimate extermination of the "jewish state". In fifty years there won't be one. And the rightwingers will have wrought this.

The danger, to all of us, in the meantime, is that Queen Esther (Sara Palin) may get elected to be president of the US. This would set up the confrontation and war that might lead to true nuclear disaster. Palin clearly believes her own hype and thinks that G-d, to use the jewish terminology, has chosen her to bring this about.

I think far more likely, there will be some exchanges of nuclear bombs between various states in the Middle East. I think both Jerusalem and Mecca will be destroyed in the next fifty years. Adieux ancient symbols of who is supposed to be G_d's people. I certainly am glad I am not one of those people. Look what you get for it? Hatred, enmity, fear, stupidity. You get the chance to be responsible for the death of millions. Sort of like those fascists in the third reich. And anyone who doesn't vote against Palin is exactly like those who ignored the rise of that nasty little austrian in Deustchland. You will bear the responsibility for all those who die at their hands.

So, you have that creep in Iran, and he'll have some bombs here pretty soon. And you have that creep in Israel. And then there's the creep in North Korea, trying to hang onto power by tightly controlling those sad people. And think of how bad things would be if McCain were the president now? Think how terrible everything would be.

The only thing worse, would be his assassination by some xtian fanatic "patriot", to give the reins of power to Sara Palin. Queen Esther.

Will this come to pass? You'd better hope not. With SP in the white house, in a few years they would stop calling it Pandora's Box and start calling it Palin's Box, because she will have loosed the most terrible woes upon the world. She might be the one to lead the species to its suicide.

Not the most optimistic of times. I wonder how stupid the Israelis can be? They have consistently lost every conflict they have been in since Bibi came to power. Oh, they win militarily. But what do they get out of it? The Vietnam War showed us that conflicts these days are just not about territory and power. They are about the will of all the people across the world. Good luck to us all.

And in the singing and the playing of human kind can be found the Lady's mercy. And in the violence and the hatred can be found Her tears, and Her impatience. Yes, I believe that the force that creates the universe and all within it can and is impatient with chosen stupidity.

I am a patriot. I am against committing suicide in the name of any given idea. I love the world and I am grateful to the Lady for the opportunity to be part of this beauty. How hard is it for my fellow humans to see this?

Israel's Orgy of Self Destruction:Masada Reborn

Probably the worst thing that has happened this year, in terms of the future of modern civilization, is the way that Israel has chosen to commemorate certain sites that are shared with Islam as holy not to be touched historical shrines of the new Israel.

This means that the fundies have gotten clear control of the Israeli government. And now they will attempt to take all the land that they believe is theirs via JHVH. And then they will institute a form of "democracy" wherein arabs and other palestinians are not allowed to be full citizens. Sort of like the 3/5s that black folk counted for in early USA days.

Anyway, apartheid is not a strong enough word for what will happen in Israel. And this will breed even greater antipathy to the western world among the arabs and the persians. Why should they want to emulate us when clearly democracy is just a slogan, just a word that is tossed around by people like Netanyahu. There is no justice in this world, and thus there will be no peace.

Eventually somebody will do something extreme in Israel. There will be terrible things happening. Jerusalem will be destroyed. And then a kind of stupid armageddon will take place. The bad part of this is the western, civilized world is and will be utterly dependent on oil for the rest of my life and my childrens lives. So this conflict, which has simmered on and off for the last sixty years, when it boils over, it will destroy this civilization.

So I say, build more nuclear plants and do it now. And quit supporting Israel. They are bent on the destruction of themselves and everything around them. Let them commit suicide, if they like, but do not enable them with guns and money.

I wouldn't be surprised if the right wing israelis that run things are really the leftover pieces of the third reich, come back to life and determined to finish the job. That is certainly how they are playing it. Self destruction, what a lovely finish. An entire country as Masada.

But don't you feel bad about the children? Not to mention the vast quantity of arabs that are going to die along with the israelis. What gets me is that the people who lived in Palestine are and have always been the descendants of the jews that lived there thousands of years ago. Some jews left after Rome destroyed the kingdom in the first century, but most stayed and reproduced as humans do everywhere. And they changed over the centuries, giving up and changing their religion from standard judaism to xtianty to islam. They are the same people, except that they didn't go to europe and get tortured by the Inquisition and gassed by the nazis.

Mark my words here, this is the beginning of the end. When they write the history books, in their fortresses in europe in fifty years, they will note that this was the point at which the match was struck.

We are in an orgy of self destruction these days. Resist this, if you can.
